The main festival venue (5-6 December) is a charming Heritage building near the historic central square of Pinelands. Very central to Cape Town, within a short walking distance of the venue there are various shops, food and coffee outlets and other convenient amenities. The interior is spacious, with a smooth wooden floor for dancing and a high wooden ceiling. Pinelands itself is South Africa’s first Garden City, lush green with open spaces and parks: it remains one of Cape Town’s safer and more sedate neighborhoods. Parking on-street.
